Aloha Baby | Elizabeth and Wesley Maternity Session | Kapalua Bay

Uniquely, some sessions feel like they carry a deeper meaning—and Elizabeth and Wesley’s Maui Maternity Session was just that. Expecting their first child, the couple chose two meaningful locations for their Maui maternity portraits.

Furthermore, some stories come full circle.

Being able to photograph Elizabeth and Wesley again was an honor. This time, I captured them as they prepared to welcome their first baby. In fact, I photographed their wedding in 2022 and their one-year anniversary at Olowalu Plantation House. Now, I’ve documented the next chapter in their love story: parenthood.

For their first Maui maternity session, we began in the lush Honolua forest—peaceful, green, and sacred.

The morning light filtered gently through the canopy as they walked hand in hand. Surrounded by nature’s quiet magic, it was easy to feel relaxed. Elizabeth and Wesley held each other, excited for their new chapter. They took a moment to thank the heavens and earth for this opportunity to become parents. Additionally, this was emotional, knowing this would be my final photography session in the forest before it closed to the public. Indeed, this Maui Maternity Session was a fitting farewell, paired with a new beginning.

Next, we moved to the golden shores of Kapalua Bay.

Elizabeth looked absolutely radiant in a white bikini top and pareo. Certainly, she wore two beautiful lei’s, a full-body pikake (jasmine) lei and a traditional maile lei embedded with red and yellow flowers. Also, she wore a stunning red, yellow, and green flower crown. No doubt, Wesley was by her side, beaming with pride and love. The Kapalua Bay waters brushed against their legs. Surely, their feet sunk into the sand resulted in a grounding feeling.

Together, the couple shared sweet, quiet moments—laughs, kisses, and gentle touches that spoke volumes. The way they looked at each other was pure joy. As shown below, the love between Elizabeth and Wesley was effortless. As the waves rolled in behind them and the soft wind blew her hair, the moment felt timeless—rooted in Hawaiian tradition, natural beauty, and deep connection.

Overall, it’s been a gift watching Elizabeth and Wesley’s love grow over—from their wedding day to this beautiful Maui maternity session. Also, thank you for trusting me again to preserve these memories. Indeed, their story continues to unfold beautifully. Definitely, I can’t wait to see them step into parenthood with the same grace and love they’ve shared all along.

Furthermore, it was an honor to spend my last session at Honolua Forest with you. Truly, I wish you the best on your parenthood journey.
