Cheers to celebrating Elizabeth and Wesley’s first anniversary at the Olowalu Plantation House. I was honored to have been a part of your wedding. I was thrilled to shoot your anniversary portraits at the Olowalu Plantation House. Indeed, this anniversary session was magical.
To celebrate, Elizabeth and Wesley came back to relive their special day. Uniquely, they rented the Olowalu Plantation House. Notably, they celebrated with photography portraits, champagne, and watched the sun fade over Maui’s landscape.
The venue overlooks the West Maui Mountains, is waterfront, and sunset views are phenomenal. Ladies, you don’t have to worry about your heels sinking in the dirt because the reception flooring is stone. Also, there is a bit of shade for those brighter days. In addition, there is a peninsula-like area with big white rocks that is perfect for your portraits.
Firstly, I photographed Elizabeth and Wesley inside the Olowalu Plantation House as if it was their first time seeing each other. Furthermore, they were so giddy with each other, which was adorable. Secondly, I photographed them on the front porch. Here, they danced and held each other close. Next, they danced in the same spot they did for their wedding.
After, we walked to the grass area in front of the Olowalu Plantation House. Then, Wesley popped a bottle of champagne, and the couple made a toast for many more anniversaries. As noted, they were giggly, which was perfect for capturing them in their element. Then Elizabeth wore a beautiful white lei, and Wesley wore a maile lei. I photographed them with and without their leis standing in front of the West Maui Mountains.
Notably, the couple looked terrific during their photography session. Not to mention, the couple were just as in love as the day they married. And what a perfect way to spend your anniversary than at a secluded place with your spouse? With that said, Maui is a magical place. Indeed, it brings out fairytales in couples.
