Krystal and Steven’s Wailea Resort wedding day was warm, bright, and full of meaning. Although they have been married for 10 years and have two beautiful kids, they flew to Maui for vacation and to renew their vows. Since this was their second wedding, Krystal and Steven wanted something simple, fun, and relaxing. So, their ceremony at the gorgeous Wailea Resort was in the morning. They wanted an early ceremony so they could enjoy the rest of the day. Indeed, it was the perfect plan for their family.
First, Krystal got ready with her family present. There was an easy, happy energy in the room. Love and Beauty Maui did Krystal’s hair and makeup, giving her a soft and glowing look. Meanwhile, the kids moved around with excitement, adding even more joy to the start of the day. The planner from the Wailea Resort ensured everything stayed smooth and stress-free.
The officiant from Wailea Resort welcomed everyone to the oceanfront location. With only twelve guests, the atmosphere felt intimate and peaceful. Even better, the skies were completely clear. Indeed, the clear skies opened a stunning view of the West Maui Mountains. Not to mention, the ocean sparkled in the backdrop while they recited their vows. Surely, the openness created the perfect backdrop for their vows. It truly felt like a picture-perfect moment.
Right after the ceremony, I photographed Krystal and Steven with their children and guests. These family photos were full of laughter and connection. Then I spent some time capturing portraits of the couple alone. They were relaxed and happy. Definitely, they enjoyed the beauty around them at their wedding day.
It was simple, personal, and full of love. Most of all, it reflected the life they’ve built together and the new memories they’ll create. Congratulations and thank you for trusting Jenny Vargas Photography to photograph your special day.
