Olowalu Plantation House | Kaitlyn and JoJo’s Wedding Vows | Jenny Vargas Photography

JoJo and Kaitlyn brought their charismatic, fun-loving California energy to Maui. With that said, their wedding at the iconic Olowalu Plantation House was nothing short of magical. From the moment I arrived, the day radiated tropical vibes, vibrant colors, and so much laughter.

Additionally, the lovely Olowalu Plantation House is in Olowalu, between Lahaina and Mā’alaea.

To begin, we started the wedding day in the vintage changing room. Indeed, it’s a charming space was filled with soft light and Hawaiian island decor. Certainly, Kaitlyn and her bridesmaids were an absolute joy to photograph. Their excitement was contagious. Not to mention their easygoing personalities made every moment feel natural and full of life.

As Kaitlyn’s mom helped her get into her dress, the room buzzed with emotion and anticipation. Certainly she looked stunning wearing a stunning shoulder-less, laced, mermaid style white dress and a flowing train. Strikingly, her bridesmaids wore peach colored gowns which complemented the tropical setting to perfection.

Let’s not forget how classy The Olowalu Plantation House front porch portraits were.

Here, I caught Kaitlyn in the doorway, and she was breathtaking. Next were the bridesmaids’ first look. Afterwards, I photographed a deeply heartfelt moment: Kaitlyn’s first look with her dad. Let’s just say you could feel the love between them. Lastly, surrounded by swaying palms and ocean breeze, Kaitlyn and JoJo shared their first look, a moment filled with laughter, connection, and joy. Now, they were ready for the wedding of their dreams.

After finishing the bride, groom, and bridal party portraits on Olowalu Plantation House property, the oceanfront ceremony began.

Set on the lawn overlooking the water, the view was magnificent. The slightly overcast weather was perfect, which kept everyone cool during Maui’s warm summer day. Additionally, a thoughtful touch to their wedding was their postcard guestbook. Furthermore, guests wrote personal notes on postcards that would later get added to the couple’s wedding album as keepsakes.

Following the ceremony, we headed to the beach for couples’ portraits. Certainly, the West Maui Mountains stood beautifully in the background. When the sun dipped low, it painted the sky in warm golden tones for a stunning sunset. What a perfect end to JoJo and Kaitlyn’s unforgettable Maui wedding at Olowalu Plantation House.

All in all, Kaitlyn and JoJo’s wedding at Olowalu Plantation House was lovely.
