Held on the upper lawn at Gather on Maui Venue in Wailea, their ceremony overlooked the ocean with sweeping views and soft island breezes. With fewer than fifteen guests, their wedding vows felt deeply personal and heartfelt—just the way they envisioned it.
In fact, Rachel and Jacob first met in 2015. Over the years, they built a life around their love for the outdoors. Also, the beach has always been their happy place. So getting married in Maui felt like home. Indeed, Maui’s a place that reflected their personalities and their relationship.
Rachel looked absolutely stunning in a lace, off-the-shoulder mermaid gown, paired with a long, flowing veil. Jacob wore a sleek cream-colored suit that perfectly complemented the soft, romantic setting. As part of the ceremony, they exchanged vows and traditional Hawaiian leis. Uniquely, Rachel wore a white lei, while Jacob wore a maile and pikake lei. Certainly, the lei’s were a beautiful nod to island tradition and their deep respect, love, and union for each other.
Of course, Dellables florals added soft, tropical touches to the day. The arrangements were elegant and natural, letting the beauty of the setting shine. With that said, Dellables floral company always comes through with the best arrangements.
After the ceremony, we made our way to White Rock Beach, not far from Gather on Maui. It was a must I captured their gorgeous sunset portraits. Furthermore, the golden hour light was soft and warm, casting a beautiful glow over the sand and water. Rachel’s veil flowed, and the love between them was effortless and genuine.
Every detail was meaningful, every smile was real, and every photo told a story of love, connection, and a perfect day in paradise. Again, Rachel and Jacob, thank you for letting me tell your story. Your love is as beautiful and grounded as the island where you said your vows. And they chose a stunning wedding at Gather on Maui Venue.
