At the present time, who else loves ditching the stress of planning a wedding but instead chose to make a dash with your future husband or wife to be?

YAS to Keepin’ it casual and elope to Maui.

Well, Rebecca & Beau thought so! To begin with, they traveled from California and kept things simple, yet elegant. Present for their elopement was the parents of each party. The parents wouldn’t miss this memorable day for the world. Being a firefighter, Beau loved this nice break from detaining California’s fires.

Truly, photographing Rebecca and Beau’s Elopement Wedding was lovely.

As seen below, they got Maui’d at Kapalua Bay, located on the west side of the island. With attention to the stunning bride, hair and makeup by Love and Beauty Maui. Indeed, they do a superb job! And our lovely officiant was Ku’ya, who always spreads his Aloha to our clients.

After officially being Maui’d, Rebecca and Beau were ready to ride off on their next adventure. Next was portrait time for the newlyweds.

Here, we photographed at Honolua Forest. Because Rebecca’s mom loved the forest, she wanted in on the photo action. Of course, happy family equals a happy Maui Wedding Photographer. As can be seen, we got some great shots of the parents with Rebecca and Beau. Remarkably, the lighting was stunning. Rebecca looked as if she was a fairy princess in a fairy tale novel. Strikingly, her long hair flowed so effortlessly along with her dress. Notably, the bouquet of various colored plumerias gave this photo session a pop of pizzazz for this greenery scene.

To top off the photoshoot, Rebecca and Beau made a dashing appearance on the cliffs of Ironwoods beach.

After, they made some splashes in the ocean. In this case, let’s sing DNCE’s song: “Cake by the Ocean”-because these two were as sweet as the icing on a cake. Certainly, these moments were priceless. No doubt, Rebecca and Beau were up for anything and a fun couple to be around.

Interestingly, did you know in the Hawaiian culture, the spirit animal Honu, the Hawaiian sea green turtle, represents wisdom and good luck. On a side note to visitors who vacation on the Hawaiian islands, please be mindful of the Honu. They are an endangered species. They are to be left alone on land or in the ocean. Thank you.

Surprisingly, the Hawaiian Honu made an appearance in Rebecca and Beau’s photography shoot! Photographed below is the Honu relaxing. All in all, congratulations on your wisdom and good luck.

Again, thank you for trusting me as your Maui Wedding Photographer. Wishing you a lifetime of wisdom and good luck.
