The Sevilla Family: Maui Family Photography

 It is my pleasure to introduce you to this sweet family who traveled here all the way from Canada. The Sevilla’s were looking to trade in a cold winter for some sunshine and sandy beaches. Maui was the perfect choice for their vacation destination!

Maria knew she wanted to include a family photo shoot as one of their Maui activities, and I’m glad she got in touch with me through Facebook. Squeezing in a professional photo session while you’re on vacation is a great way to capture some awesome memories!

The Sevilla’s were staying in Kihei, on the South side of Maui, so I suggested meeting at Keawakapu beach during sunset. This location boasts plenty of open space along the sandy shore and beautiful lava rocks and tide pools at each end. It’s a fun and popular spot for beach portraits.

 Maria and her family showed up looking AMAZING in their well-coordinated shades-of-blue outfits. Seeing Maria surrounded by all her boys just melted my heart (probably because I have a little boy of my own)! Everyone was really relaxed and the entire shoot ran smoothly. The kids were happy to take pictures and enjoyed playing with their dad during the session. Nick, the youngest of the bunch, was just so adorable and charming, so I couldn’t help taking some extra photos of him. We finished off by letting the kids play in the ocean so I could capture some candids.
