Amanda and Meiying celebrated their beautiful wedding at the Royal Lahaina Resort in Maui. Their day wedding brought together love, family, and culture for an unforgettable celebration. As a Maui Photographer, I loved capturing their heartfelt moments, meaningful traditions, and memories throughout their day.
Ironically, I met Amanda and Meiying in 2021.
Furthermore, I met them at a wedding I photographed. After seeing their friends’ wedding photos, they asked me to photograph their wedding they wanted me to capture their own wedding day. Of course, I felt honored to document their love story. With that said, my goal was to preserve every special moment at the Royal Lahaina Resort.
First, the day began with getting ready portraits. MAB helped both brides look stunning with their hair and makeup. Amanda and Meiying each had their own bridal parties and separate getting-ready rooms. This gave each bride time to relax and enjoy the moments before the ceremony.
Next, we captured their first look in the beautiful outdoor garden area at the Royal Lahaina Resort. The tropical greenery created a peaceful and romantic setting. The brides shared a sweet and emotional moment as they saw each other for the first time in their wedding dresses. Afterward, I photographed the brides with their wedding party. Then, we captured the beautiful individual portraits of each bride.
Indeed, the wedding ceremony felt sweet, intimate, and full of love.
During the reception, they included a special Chinese cultural tradition. Throughout the celebration, Chinese Lion costumes danced and brought excitement to all the guests. The colorful performance created a memorable experience for everyone.
Certainly, the reception at the Royal Lahaina Resort became a day filled with laughter, dancing, and happiness. Guests enjoyed delicious food and shared unforgettable moments together. The couple added a playful surprise with money machines that sprayed cash into the air. Everyone cheered, laughed, and enjoyed the fun energy.
Finally, we explored the beach at the Royal Lahaina Resort for newlywed romantic portraits. The soft daylight, ocean views, and the shoreline created the perfect ending to their wedding story.
In essence, the Royal Lahaina Resort wedding offered a beautiful combination of Maui scenery, Hawaiian charm, and unforgettable memories.
