As a Premier Maui Elopement Photographer, I had the honor of photographing Mercedes and Adam. They traveled from Texas to elope in Maui. Their sunset wedding took place at Ironwoods Beach in Maui. It was quiet, simple, and full of love.
In general, Mercedes and Adam decided to get married with just the two of them.
In fact, they didn’t have a reception and the ceremony was free from crowds. Just the two of them made their day feel calm and personal. As a Premier Maui Elopement Photographer, I often see how special small weddings can be. Couples can focus on each other and enjoy every moment together.
Uniquely, Mercedes put so much care into the details. She did her own hair and makeup. She also made her own bouquet and leis. Everything felt meaningful and true to her. These small touches made the day even more special and personal.

Furthermore, the wedding was a warm and simple ceremony. Mercedes and Adam stood together as the sun began to set. The sky turned soft and golden. The ocean waves added a peaceful sound in the background. As a Premier Maui Elopement Photographer, these are the moments I love to capture most.
After the ceremony, we walked along the beach and towards the lava rocks. They held hands, laughed, and enjoyed the moment. Certainly, the newlyweds took in the island beauty around them. Certainly, Eloping in Maui gave them time to slow down and be present with each other.
As a Premier Maui Elopement Photographer, I believe island elopements are magical.
Surely, elopements are simple and meaningful but so powerful-allowing couples to remain present. Indeed, Mercedes and Adam’s day was a perfect example of this kind of love.
