Olowalu Plantation Wedding | Charles and Natalie’s Wedding | Photographer Maui, Hawaii

Congratulations to Natalie and Charles on tying the knot. And thank you for trusting me as your Maui Wedding Photographer. Ultimately, it was a great day from beginning to end. Certainly, what an honor it was to shoot. Not to mention, I get to share Natalie and Charles’ wedding.

To begin, Natalie and Charles’ Olowalu Plantation Wedding day was full of love, culture, and beautiful Maui scenery.

The day started at their hotel, where they held a traditional Chinese tea ceremony. Truly, the Chinese ritual is one of my favorites to photograph. It’s intimate, meaningful, and full of emotion. Many of their family members flew from China to be part of this moment. Indeed, the family presence made the ceremony even more special.

After the tea ceremony, everyone made their way to the Olowalu Plantation House.

Furthermore, the Olowalu Plantation House wedding venue was bright, warm, and perfect for a summer celebration. Surely, Bella Blooms designed soft light pink and white florals that added a romantic touch to every space. Also, it matched beautifully with the bridesmaids’ peach color dresses. As shown below, Natalie looked stunning in her off-the-shoulder mermaid gown. Of course, the style suited her perfectly. Opposite, Charles kept things classic in a black tux and black bow tie. Together, they looked timeless.

As a Maui photographer, I love when wedding days run smooth.

This day, shout out to wedding planner, Ashley from A Dream Wedding. Videographer Caleb, from Na Ka Oi Films, also played a role in today’s wedding. I photographed their wedding for eight hours, starting at the hotel and following them through every part of the day. Having this much coverage allowed me to tell their whole story.

Certainly, shooting at Olowalu is always a treat. The ocean, the palms, and the light createed magic in every direction. When the sunset approached, the wind strengthened. In fact, it added movement to the photos, which I loved. We used the West Maui Mountains as the backdrop and captured some incredible shots. Even with the breeze, everything came together beautifully.

Overall, Natalie and Charles’ wedding was joyful, elegant, and heartfelt.

As shown, every moment reflected their love and family support. Indeed, I had a fantastic time photographing their celebration. Certainly, I’m grateful to have been part of their day. Again, thank you for trusting me as your Maui photographer.
