The Rochell family brought all the sunshine to their sunset vacation photography session at Makena Cove.
Originally, we had planned to shoot in Honolua Forest. But with the recent closure to the public, we shifted to the south side of the island. So, Makena Cove was the perfect Plan B. Indeed, the golden light, crashing waves, and toes in the sand were a plus for their photoshoot. Certainly, it what a fun vacation photography session.
On a side note, the Rochells were in Maui for their 4th of July summer vacation.
With that said, they wanted updated family photo sessions. So what better way than to have a vacation photography session. Although they stayed on Maui’s west side, they made the drive to Wailea for their photos. And I’m so glad they did.
Notably, their two kids were full of life for their vacation photography session. For instance, their 9-year-old son was silly and curious, always ready with a big grin. Their 5-year-old daughter had a spunky and sweet personality. For the mosts part, you can see the love they have for one another.
Furthermore, the kids played, hugged, laughed, and ran through the sand. Surely, these are the kind of moments you don’t pose—just capture as they happen. Also, mom and dad were just as fun. They were present, happy, and enjoyed the time with their kids. No stress, which is why everyone loves the island of Maui.
As the sun dipped lower at Makena Cove, we got the most beautiful golden glow. The family stood together, barefoot in the sand, waves touching their toes. Every photo was heartfelt—both from the sunset and from the way they looked at each other.
Your vacation photography session at Makena Cove was a hit. And Maui was lucky to have you. What a way to remember a 4th of July vacation—wrapped in love and framed by the sea.
