Congratulations to Inyoung and James on their recent marriage on the Big Island and honeymoon at Andaz Maui.
Island hopping at its finest with Inyoung and James. They were full of life, joy, and a carefree attitude. Definitely, they fit right in with Maui’s laid-back lifestyle. Since Inyoung and James stayed at the boutique Andaz Maui at Wailea Resorts, it was a quick stroll to the oceanfront.
Furthermore, I was thrilled that Inyoung and James were so carefree they didn’t mind getting in the ocean.
With that said, Inyoung and James’ sunset honeymoon portraits were spectacular. During their session, Inyoung had one wardrobe change. During sunset, the two were so in love playing in the ocean. For the most part, their kisses and hugs were endless. Indeed, I could feel the euphoria of love from them. As shown below, their energy was on fire! Nonetheless, I enjoyed shooting this dreamland honeymoon session. After staying a few days in Maui, Inyoung and James were off to explore the islands of Oahu and Kauai.

On a side note, let’s discuss the Andaz Maui at Wailea Resort. One reason I love the Andaz Maui is the convenience of the oceanfront being a few yards from the outdoor restaurant, Morimoto’s. Usually, after sunset portraits, couples are hungry. So, the Andaz Maui has the perfect ocean view while enjoying a signature cocktail or food. Another reason Andaz Maui at Wailea Resort is a hit is its view of the West Maui Mountains and Big Beach during sunset. Indeed, the views are spectacular. Last but not least, Andaz’s Lehua Lounge usually has local musicians performing live. So what better way to serenade your partner than with a delicious cocktail, sunset view, and live music?
