Angelica and Diego’s Maui Wedding was a dream come true. It was located at the Ali’i Kula Lavender Farm. As your Maui Wedding photographer, I am beyond grateful to photograph this couple’s ceremony. And thank you for trusting me as your Maui Wedding Photographer.
As a Maui Wedding Photographer, I rarely get requests to shoot upcountry. So shooting a wedding upcountry was lovely.
Although the weather in Kula can be a hit or miss with the clouds, this day was perfect. Also, the refreshing temperature was a nice change from the beach’s humidity. So when Angelica and Diego chose the Kula Lavendar farm for their ceremony, I was like a kid in the candy store. Indeed, the coastal and mountain views were spectacular. Also, the lavender fields made you feel as if you were in a fairytale.
Since Angelica and Deigo had the venue to themselves, I was stress-free to capture images without onlookers. Indeed this is a Maui Photographer’s dream to photograph at a secluded venue. Surely, the ability to roam the property and take endless stunning snapshots was fantastic. Not to mention Kula’s fresh, crisp air will take your breath away; in a good way.

Again, this upcountry Maui wedding was beautiful. Of course, Angelica and Deigo were down to earth, easy to communicate with, and pleasant to be around. As their Maui photographer, I captured images of the first look and the ceremony. First, Angelica and Deigo got ready at the lavender farm. Angelica did her hair and make-up, which was beautiful. Then, I captured the couple’s first look. With the rows of lavender and backdrop of the mountains and ocean, their wedding portraits were magical. Next, I photographed the ceremony. Uniquely, the officiants were the bride’s two sisters and the groom’s sister. Present were Angelica and Diego’s immediate family. And Kendell from White Orchard Wedding was Angelica and Deigo’s Maui wedding planner. Here, she did a spectacular job.
As their Maui Wedding Photographer, my favorite detail of their Kula Lavender wedding was Angelica’s bouquet.
Now, can you make out what Angelica’s bouquet is? To clarify, she handmade the bouquet. And it was made using the pages of the Harry Potter books. Of course, this Maui Wedding photographer fell in love with that creativity! Since Angelica and Deigo are avid readers and fans of the Harry Potter book series, they incorporated the theme in their wedding, which was precious.
