Maui Wedding Photographer | Nina and Xiaojie | Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa

Thank you for choosing Jenny Vargas Photography to be your Maui wedding photographer. It was an honor to be part of your dream wedding. Now, let’s wish Nina and Xiaojie a huge congratulations on their marriage. Furthermore, I’ll share moments from their perfect wedding day.

One of the most exciting things I get to do as a Maui Wedding photographer is to learn and experience worldly cultural traditions.

With that said, Nina and Xiaojie are of Chinese descent. They are from Philadephia. So, they began their day with a Chinese tea ceremony. This tradition looked relaxing. Also a good thing to remain calm before walking down the aisle.

Next, Nina and Xiaojie took pre-ceremony photos at the Hyatt’s garden area. Their wedding portraits in this area were breathtaking. Also, Nina’s single bridal look was perfect enough to be on the cover of Brides.com. In addition, I captured pictures of Nina and Xiaojie’s first look. Notably, their first-look photographs were dreamy. Also, I snagged the duo’s photos with and without their bridal party.

In particular, can we talk about wedding dress details? This Maui Wedding photographer fell in love with Nina’s unique long, off-the-shoulder, puffed-sleeved dress. I adored the floral lace pattern on the dress. In addition, Nina’s bridesmaids wore lovely light pink rose-colored dresses. Opposite the ladies, the men wore a shade of midnight blue suits.

On a side note, being a Maui wedding photographer, I recommend allowing time for pre-ceremony portraits. You may ask, Why?

For one, your hair and makeup are fresh and on point—secondly, you have more free time at the reception to meet and greet your guest. Also, you’re not yet sweaty from Maui’s humidity. Lastly, your teeth are clean from any food you had during the reception.

Next, Nina and Xiaojie’s Maui Wedding ceremony was oceanfront. Indeed the guest loved seeing Nina and Xiaojie exchange their vowels and Maui’s ocean views. And shout out to Country Bouquets Maui for the magnificent floral arrangements. In case you’re wondering, the Hyatt coordinated the wedding.

As a Maui wedding photographer, my creativity comes alive when shooting weddings. After the ceremony, I snagged more Maui wedding photos of Nina and Xiaojie by the bridge and oceanfront. The wedding veil shots were captivating. Instead of having a reception at the Hyatt, the newlyweds had a small cocktail party. Then for dinner, they celebrated at the Hyatt’s luau. Congratulations on your marriage.

Generally speaking, the most challenging part of being a Maui wedding photographer is choosing from the thousands of great images. After all, Nina and Xiaojie’s photos were superb. I’d love to hear which portrait is your favorite. So, comment below.

In summary, Nina and Xiaojie were a pleasure to work around. Again, thank you for trusting me as your Maui Wedding Photographer. I wish you a lifetime of love.
