As a Wedding Photographer, I’m excited to share Evelyn and Xinbo’s Olowalu Plantation Wedding Highlights. As can be seen, Evelyn and Xinbo’s wedding at Olowalu Plantation was full of joy, culture, and special moments.
Before the wedding, they prepped for their traditional Chinese tea ceremony.
In Chinese culture, the tea ceremony is known to show respect and unity between families. As Xinbo poured tea for everyone, I felt peace fill the room. With that said, Xinbo first served his family, and then Evelyn’s family. For the ceremony, Evelyn wore a pretty pink dress. After the tea ceremony, I photographed Evelyn getting ready. With that said, Olowalu Plantation has a vintage Hawaiian vibe to it which made it a true island experience. Uniquely, the officiant was a dear friend and he led the ceremony in Chinese. Indeed, this was a unique experience for me as a photographer.
Afterwards, I took intimate photos of Evelyn and Xinbo on the beach. As shown below, the gorgeous West Maui Mountains stood in the background.
Also, the intimate reception had one table for everyone. Certainly, every moment added to the celebration. Notably, these Olowalu Wedding Photography Highlights was unforgettable.
