Furthermore, here is a little back story on the lovely couple.
Katrina and Daniel met while serving in the military. However, they wed six years ago in California but did not have a ceremony. So, Katrina and Daniel came to Maui for their dream wedding. Of course, they undoubtedly picked one of the best venues, Maui Olowalu Plantation House. One thing we loved were the details. And, of course, one of the highlights of their wedding was their adorable daughter.

Katrina got lucky to book Ry-n for hair and makeup. Because Ry-n keeps a booked calendar, often it’s hard to get in. Indeed, Ry-n is one of the best on the island. Also, The Catered Coconut came in clutch with refreshing coconut water straight from the coconut.
First, Jenny Vargas Photography captured the gorgeous bride with her precious daughter getting ready. My favorite shot is Katrina’s daughter holding her mom’s dress. Uniquely, Katrina’s dress had a pretty beaded U-shape pattern in the back. As seen below, Katrina’s bridesmaid dresses wore champagne-colored dresses. Opposite, Daniel and his groomsmen wore bold, gingerbread-colored suits. When Katrina pranked Daniel, Jenny Vargas Photography and the guest had a great laugh. For years Katrina saved her vows. Finally, Katrina’s dusted off her vows and brought them to life.
After their Maui Olowalu Plantation House wedding, Katrina and Daniel incorporated the elements of a traditional Korean wedding ceremony. Surely, they embraced their heritage. The Korean ceremony was fascinating to watch. Another surprise at the Maui Wedding Camp Olowalu reception was when the DJ played one of Katrina’s recorded songs.
All in all, Katrina and Daniel’s wedding at Maui Olowalu Plantation House was a dream come true.
