As your Maui wedding photographer, we at JVP were honored to photograph your Maui elopement. Being a travel duo, Karen and Ari island-hopped from Oahu to Maui for a weekend getaway to get hitched.

Have you ever heard the saying, “It’s not where you go; it’s with whom you travel”?-unknown.

Well, that pretty much sums up Karen and Ari’s life situation. How so? To explain, Karen is a travel nurse in the health care field. Karen was working on the island of Oahu for a 13-week contract. Also, Karen and Ari have traveled all over California. Of course, they have many more places to travel on their bucket list. Since Karen and Ari were only a hop, skip, and a jump away from Maui, it was the perfect place for their getaway.

Now, what better place than Maui to elope, right?

As a Maui Wedding Photographer, my favorite part of a wedding is everything from start to finish. As seen below, Karen and Ari’s wedding photographs took place at Honolua Forest, followed by their exchange of vows at Ironwoods Beach. And oh, the details of Karen’s dress were splendid. And Karen had the right idea choosing gorgeous flats to walk on the beach. In addition, a special moment for Karen and Ari was the union of sand into one bottle. Also, the surprised couple received unique key chains as a gift from the officiant.

All in all, Karen and Ari’s elopement weekend elopement was flawless. Which are your favorite pictures?
