Maui Portraits Photographer | Succa Family Session | Kapalua Bay Sunset
While Staying at the Westin for some fun in the sun, the lovely group took advantage of updating their family portraits. Here, we met at Kapalua Bay for sunset. As a Maui Portraits Photographer, I took note that the Succa family understood the meaning of Aloha! Now, you may ask, what’s the meaning of the word Aloha?
To explain, many people use it to say hello or goodbye. For those who grew up on islands of Hawaii, understand the meaning goes deeper than just a hello or goodbye. It’s a word of respect, love, compassion, kindness, living in harmony with the land, and taking care of each other without expectation of something in return. Also, the direct Hawaiian translation alo=presence, while ha=breath. Notably, you may see two people giving each other ha when meeting, and this is a sign of respect.
Again, thank you for trusting JVP to be your Maui Portraits Photographer. May you continue to wear the Aloha spirit in your hearts!

Hi Jenny,
I hope you’re doing well! We found you on IG …
We will be staying at Napili Kai in December with our extended family and wondering if we get a photo shoot done.
I write to ask, how does your pricing typically work and how long would you ideally have working with us all?
I would think an 45-60 minutes would be plenty.
I look forward to hearing from you!
Thanks
Are you able
