Surprise, Surprise, Surprise!
This Maui Photography session was about Steven nailing his surprise proposal. Becca was shocked when Steven popped the question, and I was happy to get every last inch of excitement on their faces. Congratulations to these two young-beautiful souls.
Becca and Steven are from Kansas City. I know keeping secrets from a female is hard, but Steven made it happen. In addition to his surprise proposal, Steven brought Becca to Maui with the intentions of relaxing before starting his orthopedic internship. Not only was Maui a perfect destination for some R&R, but it’s also the ideal spot for a marriage proposal. Clearly, Steven had the right ideas for a perfect marriage proposal.
The surprise engagement session was at White Rock Beach, Wailea for sunset.
Of course, I got to the beach a bit early. While I waited for Steven and Becca’s arrival, I pretended to act as a tourist taking pictures of the beach. When Steven saw me, he immediately got down on one knee and popped the question. Without a doubt, Becca was shocked with excitement and said YAS!!! Indeed, this session was a joy to witness and catch all their bliss on film.
As Beyonce sang, “If you like it, then you should of put a ring on it.” A gorgeous ring for a beautiful bride-to-be. Way to go Steven!
