HAPPY HONEYMOON to these love birds.
In contrast, Nicky is from Australia and Roey is from San Deigo, California. After a year of marriage, this lovely couple finally stepped away from the daily grind. Now, they get to celebrate their long over-due honeymoon here in Maui. After they wed at a small ceremony in California, the two put off their getaway. Between Nicky’s move to California and work, where was the time for a honeymoon? When Nicky told me they didn’t have a wedding photographer, I wanted to make this day extra special for their honeymoon. With attention to Nicky’s request (natural lush greenery with palm trees) we chose sunrise at White Rock beach.
In this case, my goal was to give them a wish come true. A fun, relaxed, enjoyable photo session.
Nicky and Roey were giddy in each others arms. As a photographer, this is rewarding to see. I love creating an environment where my clients can be themselves. Although they were in the spotlight of the lens, Nicky and Roey showed their carefree, relaxed, playful selves.
All in all, we nailed the shoot. Mission accomplished.
Now, how many of you can relate to pushing time back with your significant other in order to finish work or a project? Well, I’m guilty of it too. So, let’s take a moment to thank our significant other for understanding our crazy schedules. As equally important as our work, lets leave the to list behind and put forth a day or so with our partner. Particularly, I am happy to see Nicky and Roey put aside their To Do list for a week together in Maui.
