Chelsea: Maui Maternity Photography

Pregnancy is a beautiful and miraculous time in a woman’s life. It definitely has its share of ups and downs, but I believe that it should be enjoyed and celebrated (after all, we are creating another human being in there)!

So when I get contacted about a potential maternity shoot, I get really excited! Sometimes I hear about soon-to-be-moms who refuse to be photographed because they aren’t comfortable or confident about their changing bodies, but ladies, please listen to me when I say this…

YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!

Just take a look at Chelsea! I mean seriously…so beautiful! When she showed up to our session in that gorgeous white lace dress, I just knew we would end up with some amazing photos.

For this shoot, I convinced Chelsea to let me take her to two different locations on the west side of Maui. We started off at Honolua Bay Forest. This tropical spot is truly magical and the way the sun was shining through the treetops was so pretty! I’m glad Chelsea and Skyler loved it just as much as I did. After about 20 minutes, we headed to Ironwoods for some beach portraits. This spot is great because you get the best of both worlds – the calm blue ocean set against the beautiful sea cliffs. The sunset lighting was perfect and casted a lovely glow fit for a soon-to-be-mama.
