Sarah & Todd: Maui Anniversary Photographer

Maui is a great vacation destination for families…but it may be even sweeter to explore this beautiful slice of paradise kid-free! And that’s exactly what this couple decided to do! Sarah and Todd recently celebrated their 10-year wedding anniversary with a trip to Maui – just the two of them! Sorry kids! As much as mom and dad love you, they needed some time to themselves to reminisce of the days before you were born 🙂

I am a firm believer in investing in your relationships. It’s so important to rewind, remember, and reconnect with our spouses. Vacationing with your children is great and can be so much fun, but it does have its limits. So it’s good to be able to run away with your partner and take advantage of late night conversations, sleeping in past 6am, and drinking some adult beverages without worrying about taking care of tiny humans.

Sarah and Todd were the cutest and I could practically see the love oozing from their smiles! They were staying at the Grand Wailea on the south side of Maui, so we decided to meet at Wailea Beach during sunset for some beach portraits. This location is gorgeous and very popular. I love the way the lava rocks jut up against the blue water. And come on you guys! Do you see how AMAZING that sunset is? It seemed extra special this evening 🙂

The couple showed up in style. Todd kept it clean and simple with a white collared shirt and slacks. And Sarah looked absolutely stunning in her dark blue dress. We walked along the beach and the entire session was very relaxed and sweet. We were able to do a bunch of different poses and I just couldn’t get over the gorgeous glow of the sunset. It added a touch of gold magic to every single picture!

Sarah and Todd…it was such a pleasure meeting you both. I hope your Maui vacation was everything you hoped it would be (and more). Congratulations on 10 years of marriage and here’s to 10 more! Thank you for allowing me to be your Maui photographer!
