High school sweethearts and still going strong!
Now, who else out there is married to their high school sweetheart? Can you guess where they met? As a matter of fact they met in elementary school. For this beautiful couple, they were lucky enough to re-connect in high school and make dating official then. As their journey continued, they now prepare for the road of marriage. Notably, Makana and Pono were born and raised on the island of Maui. With that in mind, I wanted them to choose a place that was special to them. After all, they deserve unique memories of their engagement to last a lifetime.
Even though the temperature in Kula was a bit nippy, the couple picked upcountry for their engagement session.
This particular area surrounding Maui’s lavender farm was very significant to Makana and Pono. Both grew up in the area and this spot brought back great memories for the two. Despite the cold weather, Makana and Pono were dashing together with so much love laughter. Their laughs and fun personalities made for an enjoyable session. At the same time, it brightens my day listening to a couples unique laughs. Who else appreciates the sound of laughter from a couple in love?
Altogether no complaints about the cold weather while the delightful Makana and Pono made new memories to cherish for a lifetime.
